Frank McFadden, Jr., P.E. - President
(Registered Professional Engineer in Alabama, Florida and Mississippi)
Frank
obtained a B.A. degree in Biology/Chemistry from Asbury College
in Kentucky, a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering and a M.S. degree
in Civil Engineering both from Auburn University, and completed
additional graduate work at Vanderbilt University under Professor
Wesley Eckenfelder. Frank has 18 years of engineering experience,
14 of those years as the owner and president of McFadden Engineering,
Inc. His work experience includes all aspects of project management
related to water, sewer and site development as a consulting engineer.
In addition, he is an expert in the field of water quality modeling.
He served on the State of Alabama's first Environmental Council
to advise the Governor and Legislature on environmental affairs.
As the president of MEI, Frank is committed to staying at the forefront
of today's latest water and wastewater treatment technology.

Brad Newton, P.E. – Project Manager
(Registered Professional Engineer in Alabama)
Brad obtained a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of South Alabama and has over 6 years of engineering experience. His work experience includes all aspects of engineering design and project management including:
- Design of water distribution systems and treatment facilities
- Modeling of existing water distribution systems
- Design of wastewater collection infrastructure and treatment facilities
- Design of stormwater collection systems and detention areas
- Environmental permitting
Phase II environmental assessment activities.
In addition, Brad has experience in the development of GIS databases for municipalities and site development.

Frederick
G. Thompson, P.E. - Senior Consultant
(Registered Professional Engineer in Alabama)
Retiring
in 1988 from the Mobile (Alabama) District of the U.S. Corps of
Engineers as the Chief of Structural and Geotechnical Engineering,
Fred has over 40 years of civil engineering design experience. As
a consultant to MEI since 1989, Fred is involved in project analysis,
evaluation, design, specification development, quality assurance
review, and construction supervision.
James R. Myers - Project Architect
(Alabama Registration No. 3370)
Jim has produced design and construction projects since 1974. He has been a registered architect since 1988 and was in ownership of a construction firm for 7 years. He has served as Sr. Project Architect, Sr. Project Manager, Construction Manager, Director of Business Development and Legal Officer.
Current Projects include: 25 Home Retirement Community - $3.7M, Storm Water Sedimentation Pond, Mobile, AL - $900K and Foster Road Water Line, Mobile AL - $90K.
Completed projects include: Tencel Fibers, Axis, AL - $3.5M, Degussa Chemical, Theodore, AL - $2.8M, Himont Chemical, Lake Charles, LA - $2.5M, Sablich Center at Keesler AFB, Biloxi, MS - $2M, Peninsula Golf Clubhouse and Fitness Center, Gulf Shores, AL - $1M.

Rita Perkins
Rita obtained a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of South Alabama in 2005. Her coursework at the University of South Alabama included geotechnical, stormwater control, transportation, wastewater, and environmental engineering.
Along with Dr. Kevin White, Rita has developed a design guidance report on constructed wetlands for publication.
She is pursuing her license as a professional engineer.
